About SGEx
An independent firm for expert examinations, dispute advisory and forensic services, focused on complex economic, financial, accounting and asset-related matters.
Who SGEx Is
SGEx is an independent firm for expert examinations, dispute advisory and forensic services, dedicated to complex economic, financial, accounting and asset-related matters. Its work is technical: examining documents, records, financial flows, contracts, financial statements, calculations and economic assumptions, and presenting conclusions that can be understood and verified.
The firm works on disputes, litigation, arbitrations, investigations, expert examinations and business decisions, in matters such as shareholder disputes, valuation of withdrawing shareholders' interests, damages quantification, fraud, rendering of accounts, insolvency and contracts.
Three Intersecting Fields
- Expert examinations: technical accounting, economic and financial evidence, whether under court appointment or in support of a party.
- Dispute advisory: technical support in judicial, arbitral, administrative and negotiated disputes.
- Forensic services: accounting reconstruction, tracing of funds and investigation of irregularities for evidentiary purposes.
These three fields share the same requirement: figures that withstand scrutiny, with their origin, criteria and assumptions made explicit.
Who SGEx Works With
Lawyers, in-house legal departments, companies, shareholders, officers, chief financial officers, funds, creditors, insurers and other professionals who need to understand, demonstrate or discuss a financial, accounting, economic or asset-related question on technical grounds.
Independence and Limits
SGEx conducts every analysis on the basis of the technical question and the evidence available. The assumptions adopted and any limitations encountered are recorded within the work itself.
SGEx does not provide legal advice. Its contribution is technical: organizing the economic, financial, accounting and asset-related facts so that lawyers, companies and parties can understand the substantive dimension of the controversy. SGEx also does not present itself as a routine accounting firm or a generic consultancy, and it does not promise procedural outcomes.
